Difficulty : none in dry weather, trails can be slippery when it rains heavily or when corn is being irrigated ; south of Blois, some traffic restrictions may appear temporarily during the big game hunting season in the forest areas crossed

Discover the ancient road that has been used for more than 2000 years between Rambouillet and Blois and continue beyond to the banks of the Cher to admire the castle of Chenonceau. Two days of walks with a break on the banks of the Loire to visit Beaugency and the royal city of Blois. A variant is proposed passing as close as possible to the Loire River and temporarily leaving the ancient roads behind. We propose you 220 kilometers of route, half of which on track, through the windmills of the Beauce, the Loire valley, the forests and vineyards of Touraine, the time of a weekend a little out of time.
